1950s Perfect Pencil Skirt - Plaid

This skirt is the best pencil skirt ever!! I had been searching long for a skirt like this! High quality fabric and the cut is sooo good!! Love that is lined and the length is just great and very elegant! It creates a very nice slim silhouette even for my plus size (22). The red is exactly what I wanted - a very classic lipstick red!

This is my first pencil skirt purchase from H of F as I usually buy 30's inspired clothing. The fit and length of this skirt however looked really feminine and green is my favourite colour so I thought I'd take a chance. I am not disappointed. Everything about this skirt is superb - it fits like a dream, is an extremely flattering length and the bottle green fabric is stunning - perfect, especially for this time of year..

Good quality material

Beautiful quality pencil skirt that accentuates your curves. Sits under the knee for me at 5’ 7”. Well worth the money as looks like it will last longer than other retro brands.

I had a few issues with the sizing of the skirt, and Ona from customer service was absolutely wonderful! The size is accurate to the size guide, unfortunately I am slap bang in the middle of two sizes, so will need to get it taken in an inch, but the fabric, quality, and shape are beautiful. Well worth the money.

This skirt is perfect, very confortable and extremely stylish. The colour is beautiful. It gives you a true 50's look, and makes your body really curvy. According to the size chart, I'm between sizes 8 and 10; I ordered size 8 and it's almost perfect, though slightly large at the waist. I recommend sizing down for this piece.

I love it! Being only 159 cm high I have to alter the lengre, so I love that the skirt undeneath is shorter than on previous models, then I don’t have to alter two skirts🥰 The quality of the fabric is excellent!

I've been looking for a long straight skirt that didn't cling to every nook and cranny for ages! Historically ladies weren't wearing spandex wraps and I don't feel comfortable wearing super stretchy skirts at work. This skirt is perfect! It looks amazing on, and it's fully lined! I usually don’t write reviews but I just had to! The fit is so classic and the kick pleat in the back is brilliant! I can walk normally while still looking classy! I’m absolutely obsessed! If you are thinking about getting this skirt, don’t hesitate! It’s the best skirt I’ve ever owned!

I thought it was a bit long for my 5ft 2ins but I wore it today for the first time. Never had so many compliments. That little bit of strech worked for me . Saving up for another one. Smart, sassy and classy.

Im actually wearing it now at work while i type this review! Fits just right. I am 5ft10 and i like the length on me, under the knee, a couple of inches.

I was concerned about the size but the chart is accurate. The band is just right and fits exactly like the measurements said it would. The length is on the longer side, I will have to see how it looks with flats as well as with heels. Very lovely fabric. The navy is quite dark.

I love this style of skirt but have much difficulty finding one that fits me. Unfortunately I had the same problem with this one. I was so disappointed because it is so beautifully made. It was too long for me as I am only 5'4". I'm sorry to have to return it.

It fits like a glove, true to size, exceptional quality! The fabric is made for this skirt, very well thought over all! I bought Black, Bottle green and Navy, and that says it all!
